How to make Tiramisù

 Tiramisù is a  tipical italian dessert with unknown origins, and today we are gonna learn how to make it like a real italian!!

Ingredients

  • Mascarpone Cheese 750g - 26,50 oz
  • Savoiardi Biscuits 250g - 9 oz
  • Coffe(mocha coffe, and sugar it, if you want) 300g- 10,50 oz
  • 5 Egg
  • Sugar 200g - 7 oz

Preparation


To prepare the tiramisu, prepare the coffee with the mocha to obtain 300 g/ 10,50 oz, then (if you want) add sugar let it cool down in a large bowl. 
Separate the eggs by dividing the whites from the yolks (1). Whip the egg yolks with an electric whisk, adding only half the amount of sugar(100g/3,5oz)(2). As soon as the mixture becomes light, you can add the mascarpone cheese, little by little (3).



Once all the mascarpone has been incorporated, you will have obtained a dense and compact cream (4); keep it for later. Clean the whisks very well and proceed to whipping the egg whites (5). When they are foamy, pour the remaining sugar a little by little (6).

You have to whip it very well, the consistence has to be very creamy, and compact (7), you will get this result when by overturning the bowl the mass will not move. Then, mix the the whipped whites with the cream (8), then proceed to add the remaining egg whites, little by little, mixing very gently from bottom to top.



The cream is ready (10). Spread a generous spoonful on the bottom of a glass baking dish, and  distributed well throughout the base(11).  Dip the Savoiardi biscuits for a few moments in the coffee, first on one side and then on the other (12).


Gradually distribute the soaked savoiardi in the baking dish, trying to arrange them all in one direction, so as to obtain a first layer of biscuits (14). Add more mascarpone cream and level it so as to cover them completely (15).



And continue distributing the soaked savoiardi in the coffee (16), then make another layer of cream (17) and level the surface well (18).



Put the remaining cream (you can make a sac-à-poche if you want) 19. Sprinkle it with cocoa powder (20) and leave to harden in the refrigerator for 3 hours (21) Your tiramisu is ready to be eated
